Kiwami

Kiwami, one of my favorite ramen-yas is back, and it's just as good as before.  They were previously located in the Waikiki Shopping Plaza, but they lost their lease at the end of 2012 and although they said they may re-open at a new location, I did not hold my breath.

Now they are back, and they are located in a place more accessible to locals - right on Keeaumoku Street next to Panda Cuisine.  They now have parking and serve up the same great noodles as before.  I only order one thing here - the shoyu dip noodle, known as tsukemen.  I like that the noodles are cold and the broth is luke warm, so that even on the hottest of days, I can enjoy this without working up a serious sweat.  But if you prefer regular style ramen with soup in a bowl, they have that too.
