Off-Island: Corner Bakery Cafe - University Town Center

I've always wanted to try Corner Bakery Cafe, and we finally had a chance to after our visit to the Birch Aquarium at Scripps.

My husband ordered a Corner Combo, and for the combo he chose a Caesar Salad and a Turkey on Pretzel Bread sandwich.
I ordered the Chicken Pesto on Ciabatta Ficelle.  It was pretty good and very filling (I could only finish half the sandwich), I just wished they put more pesto mayo on the bread.
Both my oldest and youngest sons ordered the Homemade Mac & Cheese Kids Meal.
And my middle son ordered the Grilled Cheese Kids Meal.

All kids meals ($4.49 each) come with a drink (organic milk, soft drink, or juice box) and fresh fruit or a freshly baked cookie.

The boys all got a juice box, and after seeing all the huge, delicious cookies in the display case upon entering the restaurant, the boys chose Monster cookies (I had a tiny piece and it was very delicious).

I'm glad I finally got to try Corner Bakery Cafe.  I'd definitely visit there again!
