Hakone

Buffets are normally all about quantity, not quality. But at Hakone, while they may not have the wide selection of food items at most other buffets, they certainly make up for it in taste and quality. I would definitely consider this one of the best buffets in town for quality, ambiance, consistency, and overall experience.

The buffet is only available Friday thru Sunday evenings from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm, and reservations are highly recommended.

Here's the buffet line. It's small, but jammed packed with tasty authentic Japanese food.

There is a sushi bar, manned by a sushi chef making nigiri sushi and handrolls made-to-order. There is a limit of 6 pieces per order, but don't worry, you can keep coming back for more.

If you have room for dessert, here's what's in store for you:
