Dole Plantation Family Fun Day

We took the boys to Dole Plantation's Family Fun Day this year.

We thought we'd try and get something to eat right away, but compared to when we went to the Family Fun Day two years ago, there was a lot less food selection. Because we couldn't find anything anyone in the family wanted to eat, we headed straight for the Pineapple Express Train.

Tickets were discounted that day, and the boys seemed to enjoy the ride. The ride is about 20 minutes long, and you get to see not only pineapples, but other things that are grown on the grounds, such as cacao, macadamia nuts, bananas, and more.

After the train ride it started to pour so we ended up leaving right away.

It was too bad that there weren't more food choices and that it was raining, because I would have loved to have ended our visit with a Dole Whip!
