Funnel Clouds

The atmosphere over the islands has been very unstable over past few days. Today started out as your typical beautiful sunny day in Hawaii, however, thunder, lightening, rain, and funnel clouds rolled in by the afternoon.

Check out the funnel clouds that formed off of Ala Moana/Kewalo Basin at about 6pm.

Timing is everything, because minutes later, the funnel clouds disappeared and were replaced by a thick wall of rain.
