Aloha General Store

After spending the morning in Haleiwa, on the way home we decided to stop at the Aloha General Store for some Shave Ice since there was a coupon in the Entertainment Book for Buy 1 Get 1 Free.

I ordered two, both with ice cream, so our family of 4 could share.

The boys shared the Strawberry.

I got Root Beer.
The Shave Ice costs $2.75, and the vanilla ice cream cost an extra $1.00. Unlike a few other places, Aloha General Store doesn't charge extra for the large plastic holder.

It was a refreshing and delicious way to end our visit to Haleiwa!

  1. I haven't had shave ice since Obama was here and we visited Island Snow in Kailua. Yeah, I ordered the same flavors he ordered there and it was good.

Next time, I'll order ice cream on the bottom. Love it.

  2. I have to say the strawberry looks much better than the root beer :) I haven't had one of these in ages. I'm gonna have to remedy that. :) Have a wonderful weekend :)

  3. Island Snow's my favorite. By far the cleanest and coolest shave ice store with the best shave ice, and a great selection of surf and street wear. Gotta try the snow cap on the shave ice ..... it's ono!
