Island Monkeez

We're currently trying to find kiddie classes/play groups for DS2 to join, and since I had to buy some essential oils, I thought we'd head to Vim N Vigor and check out Island Monkeez, which is located inside Vim N Vigor, after seeing lots of commercials about it on OC16.

Island Monkeez does offer classes (you can call for more information--the website seems to be outdated) and unlimited free play.

I thought the unlimited. supervised free play rates were really good--I believe it's $49/month, 10am-5pm most days, and $6/day (the woman there told me the rates/hours, but again, please call to confirm rates/hours because I have been getting very forgetful).

The woman let us take DS2 in to see how he'd like it, but he didn't like it.

He LOVED it.

The playroom is bright and colorful, and he couldn't wait to go in.

There are a lot of toys, a bouncer, and slides, but his favorite toy was a Thomas the Train Ride-On Toy. He went on it as soon as we went into the playroom.
DH would encourage him to go on the slide and in the bouncer, or play with other toys, and he would, but he'd still end up back to Thomas! It was so funny.

We were in the playroom for about 10 minutes and when it was time to leave, DS2 screamed. He didn't want to leave.

He loved the playroom, and I think the hours are great (other places only have limited hours available for free play). They also offer 1 hour of free validated parking.

I know DS2 can't wait to go back!

  1. I guess you will just have to buy one for him to play with at home.
