We needed to shop for ingredients for our Na`au events at Argiolas Winery, so the owner took us to Mercato di San Benedetto - and what an experience it was! I'd liken it to a farmers market + seafood store - multiplied by 10!
It's an enormous venue, with the main level featuring mostly produce, meats, cheeses, and breads.
We even got to sample some cheeses and meats.
The lower level features seafood - all sorts of seafood that you could possibly imagine - lobster, mussels, fish, clams . . .
I have never seen so many different types of seafood in one spot before. It was amazing!
