I don't normally eat breakfast, and if I do, I always go for something savory. When we ended up at Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken one mid-morning in Chicago, I wasn't going to get anything to eat, until I saw that a Fried Chicken Sandwich was on the menu, and I couldn't resist!

The Fried Chicken Sandwich was one of the best I've had - perfectly cooked and seasoned, with lettuce, pickles, and mayo. I would happily eat it for breakfast again! For those who want something "extra" - they also offer a donut chicken sandwich.

Fun fact - Do-Rite was started by two chefs who met while working at a 2-Michelin star restaurant. They now have multiple locations throughout Chicago.
