Torito's Mexican Food

Nat, who contributes on Hawaii Mom Blog, has been on a quest to help me find a new favorite Mexican restaurant (since the one I used to call my fave shut down a few years ago), and I think I finally found it!

Thanks to a gift certificate from Nat and her family, our family went to Torito's Mexican Food one day for lunch.
From top left clockwise: Complimentary chips and salsa; Kids Cheese Quesadilla, Chicken Chimichanga, Apple Chimichanga, Rainbow Sherbet (comes with Kids Meals), Crazy Burrito

The portions were large, and food was so delicious!

I had the Chicken Chimichanga, and not only was the chimichanga tasty, but so were the rice and beans!

My husband had the Crazy Burrito, which is stuffed with choice of meat, as well as beans, cheese, rice, chives, lettuce, onions, and olives.  He really enjoyed it.

The service was excellent as well.

The employees were all so friendly the entire time there, but one particular incident stands out...

When the Apple Chimichanga was brought to our table, I gave the cherry to one of my sons to eat, not thinking that my either of my other two sons would care.  However, my other two sons did get upset that they didn't get the cherry.  I simply told them they can have one "next time."  Apparently the employees heard the fuss, because shortly thereafter the server brought us a bowl of cherries so all of my boys could have some.

Talk about service!

It was a really great lunch, and I think I found my new favorite Mexican restaurant!
