Visit Tokyo: Kurogi Japanese Sweets Lab

We visited Minato-ku, an area we used to stay in before the hotel we would frequent renovated and did away with their connecting rooms.  While there, we Google searched dessert shops, and found Kurogi Japanese Sweets Lab.

They are a sit down eatery where they serve the most enormous bowls of kakigori I've ever seen.  You can make reservations in advance.

Or, if you prefer take-out, you can do that to, and they have smaller sizes.

Citrus

I had the Citrus.  It was pretty tart, something I wasn't expecting, but I loved how super fine the ice was.  It was sure refreshing and much needed on such a warm day in Japan.
