While in Osaka, we'd pass by several
551 Horai spots, and the line was frequently long. Intrigued, I spotted one at Osaka station, so I got some butaman.
551 Horai is a chain throughout Osaka where the butaman, or minced pork filled steamed buns, are a best seller (similar to our local manapua).
They were super tasty on their own, or you can add the spicy mustard that they give you in packets for a nice kick.
They also sell shumai and dumplings.
Locations all throughout Osaka (we also went to one in Hankyu).
