Hawaii Island Seed Co.

I still haven't given up on trying to grow things.  Although I did find success with hydroponics thanks to @deniset73, I wanted to try my hand at other plants, particularly popular local ones.

I first saw Hawaii Island Seed Co. at a store on the Big Island, and I since learned they could ship seeds, so I ordered several varieties.  They offer all sorts of local seeds, whether for edible or ornamental uses.

I've been most successful with Poha.

I was able to harvest several berries so far (but not yet enough to make ice cream).

The Nioi (chili pepper) has grown and produced as well, but only about 3 peppers so far.

I definitely hope to get more things growing in my garden.
