Visit Seoul: Butterfinger Pancakes

While walking through Seoul one day, my youngest saw Butterfinger Pancakes and thought it would be a fun place to eat.  We had already eaten breakfast that day, but we made sure to fit it in before we left Seoul.

Butterfinger Pancakes specializes in, you guessed it - pancakes, which they serve up all day and night.

How fun are the drinks?

Pancakes

Frittata

The Frittata was a like a smorgasboard of breakfast eats and then some - omelette, cheese, potatoes, pancakes, macaroni, pepperoni, bacon, and vitamin (spinach).

I'm team savory all the way when it comes to breakfasts, and even though I'm not a huge pancake fan, I decided to try the cheesy pancakes and waffles.
Cream Cheese `N Mozzarella Pancake

Waffle Cheese Bake

I really liked the Cream Cheese `N Mozzarella Pancake.  I liked the texture and just how cheesy it was.  The mix of sweet and salty was very pleasant.  I thought the Waffle Cheese Bake was just okay.  The waffle wasn't as crispy and I hoped it would be, and the cheese fell flat, in my opinion.

French Toast Special

The service was great, and I was quite impressed with our server, who memorized our complete order of food, drinks, sides, and accompaniments (several dishes came with an option of syrup, topping, and butter).

There are several locations throughout Seoul (we went to the Gangnam location), perfect for when you're craving pancakes and other American breakfast foods.
