Visit Hilo: Arirang Korean Kitchen

I've passed by Arirang quite often, and finally got a chance to try this Korean spot.

Chicken Katsu and Korean Chicken

I got the Chicken Katsu and Korean Chicken.  They were both pretty good, although I liked the Chicken Katsu better.  The Korean Chicken was not as flavorful as I was expecting, and I feel as if it was overly breaded, but it was still decent.  I was disappointed in the banchan - there was a limited selection (and no potatoes!).

BBQ Chicken & Mandoo

My friend said the food was just okay as well, and he was especially disappointed in the mac salad, which was basically just macaroni and mayo.  I did like the Mandoo, however.

Peppers and Anchovies

If I visit again, I would stick with the katsu and mandoo.
