Visit Hilo: Liquid Life Hilo

I've been trying a lot of new-to-me places around Hilo lately, and one of those spots is Liquid Life Hilo.  They specialize in juices and smoothies, but they also offer sandwiches and other eats.   

Mango Magic, `Olena Sunrise, PB Cup Cupcake

The Mango Magic smoothie was yummy and refreshing.  If you love`olena, the `Olena Sunrise is for you (very strong flavor that overshadows all other fruits in it - banana, pineapple, and orange).  The PB Cup Cupcake was vegan, and was surprisingly good!  I'd definitely get that again!

All the sandwiches we ordered were basic and nothing I would order again, however, the Steak Burrito was enjoyed. Stuffed with Mexican rice and beans, it was hearty and tasty.

I guess at a health spot that specializes in "liquid," it's best to stick to their specialties, but I wouldn't hesitate to order the vegan cupcake or burrito again.
