International Market Place & Waikiki Aquarium to Preserve Marine Life

This November, International Market Place is partnering with the Waikiki Aquarium to support the organization’s marine life education and preservation efforts by hosting family-friendly pop-ups, a gift with purchase promotion and a gift card sweepstakes.

“We are partnering with the Waikiki Aquarium to inspire and promote understanding, appreciation and conservation of Pacific marine life,” said Malia Zannoni, marketing & sponsorship director of International Market Place. “We invite the community to come and learn more about how to get involved in this important mission and take action.”

“We’re excited to partner with our fellow neighbors at International Market Place to further educate our community and visitors about the importance of protecting our oceans,” said Dr. Andrew Rositer, Aquarium Director. “We hope this partnership inspires our kamaaina and visitors alike to help to keep our oceans pristine and marine ecosystems healthy for generations to come.”

Educational Pop-Ups
Every Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. now through November 23 under the Banyan tree on Level 1, Banyan Court, individuals and families can learn more about Pacific marine life conservation from the Waikiki Aquarium at free, educational pop-up events that will cover topics like ocean aquaculture, Hawaiian marine communities and more.
