HOLEY GRAIL DONUTS OFFERS A TRICK AND A TREAT ON HALLOWEEN DAY

To celebrate Halloween this year, Kauai-based Holey Grail Donuts is offering a complimentary “Eternal Youth” donut to all children under the age of 12, donning a costume on October 31.  The donut, featuring strawberry, vanilla bean, and a non-spicy but tongue-tingling sansho peppercorn, will delight and surprise children with this little tingly trick. Adults will be able to also purchase this donut for $4 each.

From Thursday, October 28, to Wednesday, November 3, Holey Grail Donuts will also be offering its annual spooky Halloween Tasting Box featuring its signature taro-based donut in four holiday flavors:

·       J Thrilla – spooky local chocolate, coco butter spiderweb drizzle

·       Life of PI – kabocha squash, pumpkin spice, vanilla bean

·       Dragonslayer – dragonfruit lemonade

·       Bloody Orange – blood orange, beet

Individual donuts are priced at $4, or are available, one of each, in the Tasting Box for a discounted price of $12.

“I have fond memories of Halloween growing up. Mom didn’t let us eat a lot of sweets, unless it was a holiday, so Halloween was extra fun because we loved to dress up, get spooked and eat candy!” shares Nile Dreiling, co-founder of Holey Grail Donuts. “We want people to enjoy our holiday flavors, especially the one that features a deceptively fun trick with the treat.”

Holey Grail Donuts has two locations on Oahu—one at Ward Centre and another in Waikiki—along with its original location in Hanalei.  For more information, visit the website at https://www.holeygraildonuts.com/
