Visit Hilo: Kozmic Cones

I've passed by Kozmic Cones numerous times and always wondered why the drive-thru line was always so long. Was it the ice cream? The food?

I found out the answer, and I believe it's both.

The menu is fun and simple - burgers, hot dogs, local plates (chicken katsu, loco moco, etc.), and LOTS of frozen treats.

Chocolate Dip

I could not resist getting a Chocolate Dip, and I must say - it was so good, that I'll probably get this every time I go to Kozmic Cones (and I plan on going as often as possible).  There's nothing like a soft serve cone dipped in chocolate - magical!

I also got a Reese's Orbits to eat the next day, which is ice cream mixed with Reese's (you can also get it with OREOs or other candies).

For dinner, I had a Chicken Sandwich Platter (comes with fries and mac salad), and a side of gravy.

The Chicken Sandwich was quite good - tender and juicy, and the gravy really made the whole platter that much better.

I'm already excited to go back to get a Chocolate Dip and to try other items on the menu!
