Hawaii CinemAttractions Unveils a Unique 4DFX Experience in Waikiki

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is now home to Hawaii’s premier fully-immersive cinematic 4DFX attraction and video arcade venue. Hawaii CinemAttractions recently unveiled a state-of-the-art motion and sensory effects cinema experience, taking guests on a ride with original films Adventure Quest Hawaii 4DFX, Soaring Over Hawaii 4DFX, One Planet One People 4DFX, Mother Earth 4DFX and a CGI Roller Coaster Thrill Ride 4DFX available only at Hawaii CinemAttractions. Visitors can experience special effects through motion-enabled chairs, vibration, water, wind, scents and much more that enhance the visuals on screen. Located in the Tapa Cinema at Hilton Hawaiian Village, Hawaii CinemAttractions is now accepting bookings at www.4dfxhawaii.com.

“We’re excited to introduce our innovative 4DFX cinema technology and video arcade entertainment lounge to offer visitors and local residents new and exciting adventures without ever having to leave their seats and in a safe, sanitized, socially distanced environment,” said Adrienne Ishizu, Hawaii CinemAttractions general manager.

The 4DFX cinema is equipped with 32 seats, including two with ADA access, and features synchronized motion and sensory effects and includes a grand panoramic, multi-screen visual experience.

Tickets for each film are priced at $16 for kids (ages 12 and under) and $20 for adults with special discounted pricing available for kamaaina (local residents), seniors and military.

Hawaii CinemAttractions will initially offer five specially created 4DFX films: One Planet One People, a film shot by Devin Supertramp Graham that takes the viewer to iconic places, people and cultures around the world; Adventure Quest Hawaii, a thrilling film that showcases extreme adventure sites around Oahu; Soaring Over Hawaii, a POV flight over the Hawaiian Islands, and Roller Coasters, a wild, thrilling film that offers the rider a virtual roller coaster experience.

The 4DFX cinema also presents a very enlightening and reflective cinematic journey called Mother Earth, a relaxing guided morning meditation live show, performed with Tibetan singing bowls and narrated by Lucie Lynch that reflects on how we perceive Earth. More amazing 4DFX film experiences are already under development to continue to expand on the offerings available.

In addition to the 4DFX cinema, guests can also enjoy Hawaii CinemAttractions’ video arcade. The video arcade features classic retro stand up and seated arcade games, as well as an electronic drum set, in a convenient setting next to resort’s Tapa Pool and Tapa Bar, providing an additional source of all-ages entertainment.

Hawaii CinemAttractions is open daily from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tapa Cinema.
