BLUE NOTE HAWAII ANNOUNCES LIVESTREAMS OF ENTIRE ARTIST 2 ARTIST SERIES WITH HENRY KAPONO & GUESTS

Blue Note Hawaii, the state’s premier venue for the world’s most celebrated artists, announces it will livestream Henry Kapono’s Artist 2 Artist Concert Series in addition to hosting the shows in-person. The thirteen-concert series is presented in partnership with the Henry Kapono Foundation, which is dedicated to helping get Hawaii’s musicians back to work. Each show will include an opening performance by an up-and-coming local musician, followed by a jam and talk-story session with some of Hawaii’s most iconic entertainers.

The series is presented with support from Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and Hawaiian105 KINE.


SHOW INFORMATION:

All shows are at 6:00pm with doors at 4:30pm.
In-Person Tickets: $35 general admission (selling complete tables only)
Livestream Tickets: $25  - available to watch live and on-demand for one week after each show.

Henry Kapono will host each show, featuring the following entertainers:

  • March 4: Robi Kahakalau with Kala‘e Camarillo and Malia Mahi. Opening performance by Kamaka Camarillo.
  • March 11: Jerry Santos with opening performance by Kamuela Kimokeo
  • March 16: Maunalua with opening performance by Kamakakēhau Fernandez
  • March 25: Henry Kapono’s Tribute to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
  • April1 : Kapena with opening performance by Kala‘e Parish
  • April 8: Led Ka‘apana with opening performer TBA
  • April 13: MānoaDNA with opening performance by Sean Cleland
  • April 22: Jeff Peterson with opening performance by Laupepa Letuli
  • April 29: Henry Kapono’s Tribute to Don Ho
  • May 6: Mark Yamanaka with opening performance by Jorden Kealoha-Yamanaka
  • May 13: Brother Noland with opening performance by Lucie Lynch
  • May 18: The Makaha Sons with opening performance by Mike Tulba
  • May 27: Henry Kapono’s Tribute to Jimmy Borges featuring the Honolulu Jazz Quartet
