Papa Kurt's

There could be no better location for Papa Kurt's than Moili'ili, as Papa Kurt's theme of old school comfort food fits in perfectly with Moili'ili's neighborhood which is rich in history, culture, and consists of predominantly locally owned small businesses.

At Papa Kurt's, you'll find old school burgers that are perfectly crafted and utterly delicious.

First off, the burgers and crinkle cut fries are nicely packed in brown paper bags that are thick enough so that the grease doesn't leak through. It's this kind of attention to detail that will always win me over.

The burger is meaty, nicely seasoned, and uncomplicated. You can get it plain, or you can add on teri sauce/cheese, lettuce/tomato, and/or an extra patty for a few bucks more.

The bun (sourced from local bakery La Tour Bakehouse) is nicely toasted, which prevents the bun from getting too soggy and falling apart.

The crinkle cut fries remained crispy after the 10 minute commute back to my office.

On my second visit to Papa Kurt's, I opted for the burger with just teri sauce/cheese. It was even better than the first time around!

I also sampled a side order of won tons - delicious! I am holding out until they open up for dine-in, to try their saimin.

Online ordering is available (and highly recommended), as well as curbside pick up.

Current hours: Wednesday - Sunday 11 am - 5 pm
