Scoop Scoops Hawaii

There is a new game in town when it comes to local-style sherbet - Scoop Scoops Hawaii.  Previously, the only way you could get your hands on their pints of refreshing sherbet was to DM them on Instagram and pick it up from them at one of three designated locations on Oahu. But they recently opened a shop on King Street, where you can buy pints without having to pre-order.

They currently have 8 flavors on their menu. And every so often, like on grand opening day, they'll offer limited quantities of a special flavor.

I picked up two pints of their special flavor (milk tea swirl) and one pint of the lychee-hoo, which is their only dairy-free flavor on the menu.

I wanted to try the milk tea swirl since I have no been able to get my hands on the milk tea boba popsicles that have been going viral.

I can't say whether it's better than the popsicles, but I will say that Scoop Scoops version of milk tea sherbet is delicious and so refreshing!

There's boba balls in there, and some other jelly-like topping in there - maybe coffee jelly? Whatever it is, it goes perfectly with the milk tea.

They also sell products from other local vendors, such as water bottles from All Kine Athletics, gummy snacks from Frost Bites HI, hand sanitizers, and even KN95 masks.

Cool off with local style sherbet at Scoop Scoops!
