‘Tis the Season for Holiday Dining, Shopping and Entertainment at International Market Place

It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year, and International Market Place is celebrating with delicious, chef-driven feasts and holiday shopping sure to fulfill every wish list. Highlights for the holiday season include free four-hour validated parking days with a $10 purchase, Strolling Santa, special dining menus, exclusive retail offers and events, and new store openings.

International Market Place Open Every Day of the Year
International Market Place is open daily, including holidays, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Operating hours for restaurants and stores will vary. On Thanksgiving and Black Friday, November 28 and 29, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, December 24 and 25, guests will receive four hours of free self-parking with a $10 purchase from any of the center’s shops or restaurants.

Holiday Dining
Kamaaina and visitors looking for a memorable and fuss-free feast, need look no further. Select restaurants will be showcasing special Thanksgiving menus, including Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi, Herringbone, StripSteak and more. Menu items may be subject to change. Holiday Shopping

  • Restaurant Week Hawaii (Now to November 24)
Celebrate Hawaii’s innovative and delectable culinary scene at Restaurant Week Hawaii. During the annual weeklong event, participating restaurants will offer special menu items featuring locally grown produce, promotions and discounts. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head, which aims to educate and inspire the next generation of Hawaii’s chefs. Participating International Market Place restaurants include Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi, Flour & Barley Brick Oven Pizza, Goma Tei, Herringbone, Kona Coffee Purveyors, Mi Almita Cantina, StripSteak and The Street Food Hall by Michael Mina. 

  • The Mom Made Market Hawaii – Holiday Market (November 23-24)
The Mom Made Market is returning to International Market Place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 23 and 24. The festive market will feature dozens of vendors with mom-made products and services. Admission is free. Guests can purchase an exclusive Hawaii “Shop Like a Mother” tote bag and receive more than 25 exclusive discounts, plus early access to the market starting at 9 a.m. Totes are limited.   • Strolling Santa (December 1-24)
Santa Claus is coming to town! Strolling Santa will be cruising the center and spreading holiday cheer in his board shorts and aloha shirt from 3 to 10 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from December 1-24. Guests are invited to snap a photo with Strolling Santa and receive a free cookie, while supplies last.

  • Fukubukuro (December 31-January 1)
Holiday shopping continues into the New Year with the popular Japanese tradition of Fukubukuro. Typically a one-day shopping event, International Market Place will be celebrating with two full days featuring “lucky bags” for half off the full retail value of the items inside at participating merchants. The bags will be offered on December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2020, while supplies last.
