New Exciting Modern Steakhouse in Kakaako: Ya-Ya’s Chophouse & Seafood

The great minds behind Uncle Bo’s, Ho Suk Lee and Chef Bo Pathammavong, best buddies since high school, opened their third restaurant. The highly anticipated new steakhouse concept in Kakaako - Ya-Ya’s Chophouse and Seafood opened its doors on Friday, November 15, 2019, located in Keahou Lane on 508 Keawe Street, Unit 108, in Kakaako.

The dining experience at Ya-Ya’s features distinctive dishes from start to finish, creating an authentic and elevated experience through enhanced food, service and vibe. When asked to describe their new concept, Lee said, “Ya-Ya’s is an exciting, unique steakhouse concept that specializes in BOTH fantastic seafood as well as the HIGHEST quality, Prime and Dry-aged steaks flown in from all over the world!”

Ya-Ya’s will set the tone for a more approachable steakhouse experience, serving a curated collection of the world's best cuts. Pupus pair perfectly with a selection of signature cocktails and with familiar offerings of a chophouse showcasing great food prepared in a way that only Bo knows!

The menu features a gigantic 40-44oz Tomahawk Steak and a “Prime” Prime Rib along with A5 Wagyu from Nagasaki. Ya-Ya’s is proud to be one of the official restaurants of Wagyu beef recognized by the city of Nagasaki.

The name came as a result of one of Lee’s daughters calling her older sister Ya-ya. The décor is vibrant, but classy and bold as a steakhouse should be. The atmosphere will be lively and a fun place to gather and party later into the night. Lee says, “This is a place where everyone will want to hang out and gather for any type of occasion. We’re proud to be locally owned and operated with a menu and pricing that will appeal to everyone, with a fun elevated-casual setting. Perfect for a first date, pau hana gathering, or your 1,000th date!”
