What’s New at International Market Place

Honolua Surf Co. – Now Open!
Inspired by the pristine waves of Maui’s legendary Honolua Bay, Honolulu Surf Co. is an ubiquitous lifestyle brand for all casual and surf wear needs. With locations open across the state, guests can shop for a variety of ocean-centric clothing such as rash guards, boardshorts, women’s swim, tank tops, sundresses, hoodies, sunglasses, caps and more. International Market Place Job Fair (October 5)
In preparation for the holidays, International Market Place will host a job fair on Saturday, October 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Candidates will have the opportunity to connect with prospective employers from the center’s stores and restaurants, and should come prepared to conduct on-the-spot interviews in the center’s Mauka Court located on level 1. Royal Hawaiian Band Concert (October 10)
Once known as the “King’s Band,” the Royal Hawaiian Band was created by King Kamehameha III and was a staple of daily life for state occasions, funerals and marching in parades. Every second Thursday of the month through December, guests can enjoy a free concert by the Royal Hawaiian Band in Queen’s Court from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Dates subject to change. ANA Honolulu Music Week (November 15-17)
All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest 5-star airline, is hosting its first-ever Honolulu Music Week in November. The three-day event will bring together local and international musicians and artists to share music from their respective cultures. Restaurant Week Hawaii (November 15-24)
Celebrate Hawaii’s innovative and delectable cuisine at Restaurant Week Hawaii. During the annual one-week event, participating restaurants will offer special menu items featuring locally grown produce, promotions and discounts. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Culinary Institute of the Pacific at Diamond Head, which aims to educate and inspire the next generation of Hawaii’s chefs. Participating International Market Place restaurants include Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi, Flour & Barley Brick Oven Pizza, Goma Tei, Herringbone, Kona Coffee Purveyors, Mi Almita Cantina, ShoreFyre, StripSteak and The Street Food Hall by Michael Mina. Holiday Shopping and Dining
With only a couple of months until the holiday season officially commences, International Market Place is the perfect destination for tackling extensive gift lists and feasting on chef-driven cuisine. The center is open every day, including holidays such as Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Individual restaurant and store hours may vary.   • Strolling Santa
    Old Saint Nick is back and camera-ready this holiday season! Guests are invited to snap a selfie with Strolling Santa every weekend in December. He’ll be spreading holiday cheer in his board shorts and aloha shirt on select dates throughout December.

  • Fukubukuro
    The season of shopping continues into the New Year with the popular Japanese tradition of Fukubukuro. During the two-day event, participating International Market Place retailers will offer “lucky bags” for half off the full retail value of the items inside. The bags will be offered on December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2020, while supplies last.
