April:  The Secret to Vibrant Skin
Saturday, April 6 @ 9:00am in the Executive Conference Room
Learn how to support the largest organ of the body through daily health-promoting practices and quality skin products.  Dr. Jurgen Klein, founder of JK7® Luxurious Natural Skin Care will be this month’s guest speaker.  This presentation starts at 9:00 am and will be followed by a “bonus round” workshop empowering participants to apply the information into everyday life.  Lectures are $25 per person and include complimentary valet parking.

CATTLEYA WINE BAR TASTING
Cattleya Wine Bar will be having a special tasting event featuring Relic Wine on Wednesday, April 17th.  Winemaker Michael Hirby and Winery Manager Schatzi Throckmorton take a historical and natural approach to winemaking – sourcing grapes from renowned and passionately cultivated vineyards in Napa and Sonoma and will be showcasing their wines and expertise.   

Wednesday, April 17:
5:30 – 7:00 pm   Meet the Winemaker, Tasting Tour – $45 per person
7:30 pm             Wine Dinner four course - $125 per person

Tasting tour and Wine dinner together - $155 per person.  All prices do not include tax and gratuity.

Cattleya features global selections of wines by the bottle, glass, and through the Coravin system. Wines are complemented with a light tapas style menu influenced by the Orchids’ Mediterranean theme (Charcuterie Plate, Hamachi Crudo and Ahi Tostada are popular selections). Experience Cattleya daily from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm, Mondays through Saturdays, and Sundays from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
 
EASTER AT HALEKULANI
Sunday, April 21
This year, in addition to our traditional Easter Brunch at Orchids, we are introducing our first ever “Keiki-centric” brunch at Hau Terrace from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  This fun and interactive brunch experience will have a special menu for “kids of all ages” featuring a do-it-yourself waffle & crepe station, choose-your-own ingredients for omelettes, a carving station with Herb Crusted Sirloin and Roman-Style Leg of Lamb, Cioppino Seafood Stew, and a special area for custom made ice cream creations.

There will be live music and special artists to do face painting and design balloon creations.  Our very own Halekulani Easter Bunny will be making appearances throughout brunch for a photo opportunity.  Adults - $76; children ages 5 – 12 years - $29; children 4 years and under - free.  Tax and gratuity not included.  Reservations are recommended for preferred seating times.  Please call our reservations center at 808-923-2311 for your Easter Sunday Brunch options.

EXTENDED TO APRIL 30TH
By popular demand, John Kelly’s exclusive collection of Old Hawaii exhibit has been extended to April 30th.  View works by the master craftsman that many consider the “Gauguin of Hawaii.” Kelly received national acclaim for his mastery of original etchings of the Native Hawaiian culture and his portrayal of his subjects.
