Fashion Designer Allison Izu's Live Your Letter Seminar Series

Allison Song, owner/designer of elevated basics fashion brand Allison Izu, is launching her monthly Live Your Letter Seminar Series on Friday, March 29 from 6pm-8pm at her new boutique at Ala Moana Center, and on Saturday, March 30 from 4pm-6pm at her Kaimuki boutique.

The Allison Izu brand is a collection of Elevated Basics, designed for fit and function for the modern woman. Allison created Izu Body Typing to help her customers find their perfect fit for their body shape, so that they can #LiveYourLetter—feel empowered to be their most authentic self. At each seminar, Allison leads a fun, social, and informative discussion about Izu Body Typing, speaking on each of her six Izu Body Types and how they inspire her designs. Allison shares her research behind body typing, how our bodies change as we age, and how to address those changes through clothing and personal acceptance.

Allison recommends specific styles for each body type, and then joins her styling team for one-on-one styling sessions with the attendees. During the styling session, attendees can shop with personal assistance from Allison and the Izu Styling Team to find their perfect outfits based on their body types for a simplified, more custom way to shop.

Live Your Letter Seminars are held at Allison Izu Ala Moana Center and Kaimuki boutiques. Each seminar is an open forum for women to share stories and experiences in a comfortable, safe, and empowering environment. The seminars are free and open to the public. Light bites and bubbly are provided. There is limited seating for each seminar. Registration is required. Please register HERE.

Allison recently opened the brand’s second retail location at Ala Moana Center in January 2019. Located on Level 3, Center Court, by Neiman Marcus, the 1,800-square foot boutique features Allison’s complete collection of women’s clothing, in addition to accessories, locally crafted handmade jewelry and a curated selection of home goods and small gifts. The new store gives Allison Izu an opportunity to showcase the brand in its entirety and provides a convenient brick-and-mortar location for her local client base.
