Visit Big Island: Luana Lounge at Fairmont Orchid

While at the Fairmont Orchid, we dined at Luana Lounge. a laid back space, where guests can sip on cocktails, dine on pupus, and watch the game.

The Tempura Hamakua Mushroom Fries were not as good as I had hoped they would be.  They were huge and difficult to chew.  I really enjoyed the Kalua Pork Pizza, however.  It tasted just as good as it looked!  The pork, onions, and BBQ sauce all combined to create a yummy pizza that our family devoured in no time.  

For dessert we shared the Apple Banana Brulee, which was the 2018 Big Island Chocolate Festival People's Choice Award Winner.

Despite having to wait an exceptionally long time for our order to be taken, it was an overall nice dinner, and Luana Lounge is indeed a great space to just relax and enjoy the surroundings.
