Lunch at Arancino at The Kahala

We were in the neighborhood, so I decided to take the family to Arancino at The Kahala for lunch.

A keiki menu is offered, but with the exception of the Kahuku Corn Chowder (which my son loved - he slurped up every last drop), we ordered items from the regular menu and shared family-style.

I had to get the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. I ordered this dish the last time I went to Arancino at The Kahala for dinner, and it was so delicious.  It's served with a poached egg, which you break and mix in with the noodles, pancetta, parmigiano reggiano cream, and truffle butter.  It tasted just as amazing as the first time I had it.

The Quattro Formaggi Pizza included Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Mascarpone, and Parmigiano Reggiano. The pizza is served with a jar of honey, which you could drizzle onto your slice for a little sweetness.

The Tre Porcellini Pizza was topped with Proscuitto Cotto, Salamino Piccante, Sausage, and Mozzarella. The Tre Porcellini seemed to be the fave amongst our family.

Our server was friendly, and service was quite good up until we got our food, upon which time we rarely saw our server, and it was an inexplicably long wait for us to get the check.

Despite that, I would still dine at Arancino at The Kahala - I just love their pizzas and pastas!
