Dunkin’ Pearlridge Center Downtown - Grand Opening Celebration November 15

Hawaii consumers are invited to experience Dunkin’s store of the future! Aloha Petroleum today announced the grand opening of a new Dunkin’ restaurant on Thursday, November 15 that will feature the brand’s next generation store design, located at the Pearlridge Center Downtown on Moanalua Road. Complete with a modern atmosphere and innovative technologies, the location is one of the 60 or more new and remodeled Dunkin’ restaurants featuring the new design to open this year, and the only one in Hawaii. The restaurant marks the fifth Dunkin’ in the state under a franchise agreement between Dunkin’ Brands and Aloha Petroleum.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Dunkin’s next generation store initiative and to share this innovative new restaurant with the community,” said Richard Parry, president and CEO of Aloha Petroleum. “We are positioned in a perfect area for commerce at Pearlridge Downtown with its dynamic redevelopment.”

The Dunkin’ grand opening celebration commences at 10:00 a.m.—as the location joins in a traditional Hawaii Blessing with new neighboring businesses in Pearlridge Downtown—followed by a ribbon cutting at Dunkin’ at 10:30 a.m. The first 50 customers served during the festivities will also receive special giveaways, including a $25 Dunkin’ card.  Check presentations will be made at 11:00 a.m. to Pearlridge Elementary, Alvah A. Scott Elementary and the Pali Momi Foundation in honor of the occasion, with a lion dance at 11:30 a.m. Appearances from Dunkin’ mascots Cuppy and Sprinkles run throughout the event until 12:30 p.m.

Exciting elements of Dunkin’s new restaurant experience at the Pearlridge Downtown location include:

·      Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.

·      Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.

·      Dunkin’ on Demand: With fully-integrated digital kiosks coming in the near future, guests will be able to choose to order with or without the help of a crew member.  Dunkin’ has also introduced an area dedicated to mobile pickups, so that members of the DD Perks® Rewards program who order ahead via Dunkin’s Mobile App can get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before. Guests will be able to track the status of their orders placed for pickup inside the restaurant via a new digital order status board.

·      New Attire Designed by Life is Good®: Dunkin’ has introduced new attire and headwear designed in partnership with lifestyle brand Life is Good®. Messaging on the new crew t-shirts, such as “Fueled by Positive Energy,” and “Drink Coffee. Be Awesome.” serve as a form of self-expression for crew members, reflecting the positive atmosphere of the new Dunkin’ store and the optimism and energy for which both the Life is Good and Dunkin’ brands are known. In addition, Dunkin’ and Life is Good share a commitment to spreading positivity and helping kids in need through their respective Foundations – the Joy in Childhood Foundation® and the Kids Foundation.

·      Increased Energy Efficiency: The new Dunkin’ is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.

Operating hours of the new location will be from 7:00 a.m. until mall closing daily. To learn more about Dunkin’, visit www.DunkinDonuts.com, or subscribe to the Dunkin’ blog to receive notifications at https://news.dunkindonuts.com/blog.
