The Good Table Celebrates 10 Years of Helping Kupuna

The Good Table, a unique dining experience that will take place on September 27 celebrates 10 years of helping Hawaii’s kupuna. The annual fundraiser will feature over 20 of Hawaii’s finest restaurants uniting in support of Lanakila Pacific, Lanakila Meals on Wheels and the thousands of seniors who benefit from the home delivery meal assistance program. This one-night-only special event showcases a unique, chef-designed menu served at a reserved VIP table in their restaurant. Tables are sold at www.thegoodtable.org and proceeds from the sales help Lanakila Meals on Wheels provide over 382,000 meals annually to homebound seniors.

“2018 is special to us because The Good Table is celebrating 10 years,” said Rona Fukumoto, President & CEO of Lanakila Pacific. “We are the largest and only island-wide meal service provider for home-bound seniors and because of our partnerships with the wonderful restaurants and our amazing diners, The Good Table has helped us deliver meals to Hawaii’s kupuna for a decade.”

This year, over 20 restaurants are participating in The Good Table, which includes Alan Wong’s Restaurant, Herringbone, Hy’s Steakhouse, MW Restaurant, Tango Contemporary CafĂ© and more.
