Fitness Gurus Bring F45 Training to Hawaii

F45 Training, the world’s fastest-growing fitness network, continues to expand and has made its way to Kahala at 4400 Kalaniana‘ole Hwy. The F45 fitness studio will bring a new style of training to the area and is open to all fitness levels. The F in F45 stands for Functional Training.

Workouts are created to capture the best from more than 4,000 different exercises — meaning members never get the same workout twice, providing a constant challenge for the mind and body. The purposefully designed, varied workouts prevent muscle adaptation and boredom, which are big challenges in traditional fitness programs.

Long-time Hawai‘i fitness industry leader Rowland Chaulk, a founding Orangetheory Fitness franchisee in the islands, is now leading the charge for the F45 Training Hawai‘i. F45 Training Hawai‘i offers members an unlimited array of functional training programs based on a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) style of workout. Using the best of strength and cardio training, the 45-minute sessions are designed to burn upwards of 800 calories.

“After many years in the fitness industry and experience with a wide range of programs, I know that F45 Training brings something new and unique to the islands,” Chaulk said. “We anticipate opening our first studio in Kahala in September, followed by Aiea at a future date. Along with co-franchisee Shane Davies, we plan to develop as many as 10 F45 Hawai‘i studios, concentrating first on O‘ahu and Maui.”

The first F45 Training Hawai‘i studio will stage Grand Opening festivities following a traditional Hawaiian blessing. The studio will offer the first two weeks of classes free and is now accepting registration at https://f45training.com/Kahala/. Additionally, a specially discounted Founders’ Rate is offered for the first 100 members. Early adopters lock in the discount for the duration of their membership.

The second location of F45 Training Hawai‘i is planned for Pearlridge Center. The opening time-frame will be announced at a later date.

“The vibe of F45 Training is awesome,” said Zach Kruk, regional director. “One of the many great aspects of F45 Training is that class sizes are capped to make sure each member receives a one-on-one experience with our personal trainers. Our classes are conveniently scheduled to fit members’ busy lives, and booking classes is simple, via mobile app.”

Above and beyond the stereotypical gym experience, F45 Training Hawai‘i will offer a non-intimidating environment. No mirrors, no treadmills. Members will enjoy educational seminars and social events, as well as F45’s Hollywood DJ workouts on weekends to pump up the vibe. F45 Training Hawai‘i also offers free access to some 1,300 F45 studios around the world as well as a 30-day, money-back guarantee.
