Mi Almita Cantina: James Beard award-winning chefs Hugo Ortega and Michael Mina have opened Mi Almita Cantina, an authentic Mexican coastal restaurant with a modern twist. This is the third full-service Oʻahu restaurant and first brick-and-mortar location by Chef Michael Mina. The menu consists of a freshly prepared fiesta for the palate with soulful recipes that highlight time-honored traditions and rituals. The concept is about simple ingredients that create exotic results. Mi Almita Cantina is located at The Street Food Hall by Michael Mina.

July 1-31: Support The Food Basket, Hawaii Island’s Food Bank by dining at Flour & Barley
Enjoy lunch at Flour & Barley throughout the month of July and support The Food Basket, Hawaii Island’s Food Bank. Ten percent of Flour & Barley’s lunch proceeds throughout July will be donated to the organization, which is a donation collection site for residents affected by the Kilauea volcano. Lunch at Flour & Barley takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and is located on the Grand Lanai, Level 3.

July 1-31: Mixology Month at International Market Place
International Market Place’s first-ever Mixology Month will be sure to quench your thirst! Throughout the month of July, sip on a variety of exclusive libations from the talented mixologists of the Grand Lanai restaurants and The Street Food Hall by Michael Mina.   • Battle of the Bartenders: Takes place every Thursday in July from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., showcasing Grand Lānai restaurants and The Street Food Hall by Michael Mina mixologists. Battle of the Bartenders, an exciting cocktail mix-off between the innovative International Market Place bartenders and mixologists, will be featured in Queen’s Court, Level 1.
  • July 8 – July 14: Tequila
  • July 15 – July 21: Whiskey
  • July 22 – July 31: Championship – Winners from weeks one, two and three will compete for a cash prize.

  • Summer Mixes Live Entertainment: Guests can enjoy live music every Saturday night in July from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Queen’s Court, Level 1. Admission is free and open to the public. The lineup includes:

  • Exclusive Banyan Tote Bags: Now through September 30, guests can receive International Market Place’s second edition tote bag, designed in partnership with Greenroom Hawaii and local artist Jordan Higa and inspired by the iconic 160-year-old Banyan tree. July 21: Seafolly Australia Mat Pilates Class

July 28: Namaste for Brunch at Herringbone Waikiki
Join Herringbone Waikiki for its Namaste for Brunch on Saturday, July 28 at 8:45 a.m. Rally your friends and restore your body with yoga, brunch and bubbles. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by visiting their website. Herringbone Waikiki is located on the Grand Lanai, Level 3.
