Plan Do See today announces its entrance to Hawaii's vibrant culinary scene with the introduction of DECK. and Knots Coffee Roasters. These two concepts will open this summer at Queen Kapiolani Hotel as part of the beloved property's $35 million transformation.

DECK., a pool terrace restaurant, and Knots Coffee Roasters, a morning grab-and-go café turned afternoon bar, will be providing patrons with unobstructed views of Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach and Kapiolani Park, as well as an outstanding, locally sources dishes, an imaginative drink menu and live entertainment.

"Hawaii is a special place, full of rich culture and at Plan Do See we are inspired to bring that culture to life at DECK. and Knots Coffee Roasters," said Alan Sasayama, managing director of food and beverage for Plan Do See. "Along with the hotel, we want to create an atmosphere that is reminiscent of the excitement of old Waikiki with contemporary touches and an elevated food and beverage menu."

Welcome to DECK. Located on the third floor lanai with sweeping views of Diamond Head, this first of its kind restaurant offers guests an elevated, exciting and entertaining dining experience. Offering al fresco cocktails and locally sourced, island fresh ingredients to create the new American cuisine, DECK. has something for everyone. Be on the lookout for the return of the iconic Queens Kapiolani Hotel brunch brought to you by DECK. To be "on DECK." as a guest is coveted entry to a world that is uniquely designed to take in all that happens above the sea and under the sun and stars.

Knots Coffee Roasters is the place to be. Day or night, when the beach gets boring, Knots will supply great coffee, tea and treats. In partnership with local roaster Daylight Mind Coffee, Knots will be offering globally inspired and locally crafted coffee, tea from Tea Chest Hawaii, and fresh juices and delicious handmade sweet and savory treats. Knots has everything both visitors and locals need for the perfect day on the beach or park, before the zoo or an outdoor concert in the neighborhood. In the afternoon and evening, this contemporary café transforms to provide a selection of hand-picked wines and craft beers from the Islands and beyond.

"As Queen Kapiolani Hotel prepares for its grand reopening as a full-service, four-star retro beach getaway, we sought world-class partners to collaborate with," said Jeff Perkins, general manager of Queen Kapiolani Hotel. "Plan Do See is all that and more. We are excited to welcome our guests and the Hawaii community to this new destination by a company famed for its hospitality."
