Ke Kani O Ke Kai Summer Concert Series Schedule

Join the Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium this summer for the return of its annual Ke Kani O Ke Kai summer concert series featuring live local entertainment under the stars on the Aquarium lawn. Presented by Outrigger Hotels and Resorts, this year’s line-up includes some of Hawaii’s top performers including Grammy Winner Kalani Peʻa, 2018 Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners Kimie Miner and Keauhou, Streetlight Cadence, and much more.

The five-night concert series takes place every other Thursday evening from June 14 through August 9, 2018, as follows:
  • Thursday, June 14 – Jeff Rasmussen and Robi Kahakalau / Nathan Aweau / Kaumakaiwa Kanakaʻole / Hula Hālau O Kamuela 
  • Thursday, June 28 – Ho‘okena / Maunalua / Amy Hānaialiʻi Gilliom / Hālau Hula Ka Lehua Tuahine 
  • Thursday, July 12 – Josh Tatofi / Napua Greig / Kapena / Hālau Nā Lei Kaumaka O Uka
  • Thursday, July 26 – Kimie Miner / John Cruz / Hapa / Streetlight Cadence 
  • Thursday, August 9 – Kalani Peʻa / Natalie Ai Kamauʻu / Keahou
Guests will also be able to purchase food and refreshments from of Haili’s Hawaiian Foods, Laverne’s, Keamo’s Catering, among others. A different restaurant will be paired with each concert. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The concerts begin at 7 p.m. and conclude at approximately 9:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their own low sand chairs or beach mats for seating.

Tickets are priced at $50 for adults, $20 for children (ages 5-12) and free for children 4 and under. Tickets for Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium “FOWA” members are priced at $30 for adults, $15 for children. Special series pricing, including single admission to all five concerts will be available for $200 general admission ($75 for children) and $120 for FOWA members ($45 for children). Food, beer, wine and other beverages will be sold separately. No outside food or beverage will be permitted.
