The Red Barn Farmstand will debut a new weekly Sunday farmers’ market offering the Hale‘iwa community and visitors a variety of local produce, freshly prepared foods and artisanal products. Red Barn Farmers & Friends Market Days begin on Sunday, March 25 on the Farmstand Lawn. Market hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Included among the opening market day vendors are: Friends with Farms (local produce, eggs); Ho Farms (local produce, ketchup, pickles, seed packets); Jar’d Co. The Red Barn Farmstand will be open on Market Days for regular business, offering the Barn’s popular breakfast burritos, grilled Kahuku corn and more. A new grilled corn menu featuring innovative flavor combinations also debuts at the Farmstand this month. In addition to the Barn’s signature Hawaiian Salt & Herbs preparation, new specialty flavors include Kim Chi (kim chi aioli, chives and Hawaiian salt); Curry Spice (locally made Ka‘iulani Spices curry powder, butter, chives and Hawaiian salt); Coffee & Smoke (Ka‘iulani Spices Coffee Spice, butter and Sea Salts of Hawai‘i Kiawe Smoked Salt).
