Holiday Gift Idea - Me+Tree

With the holiday season upon us, this year is a great opportunity to branch out with a unique gift.

With Malama Learning Center’s Me+Tree Campaign, you can give a gift of green, as a donation in $50 will help the nonprofit plant a tree in the Waianae Mountains.

The program is part of the new Ola Na Kini initiative that is working to revive and regrow native Hawaiian trees and shrubs in the Wai’anae Mountains, that have over the years been devastated and overrun with invasive plants. Just this year volunteers started seeding, planting, and nurturing native trees, shrubs, and ground cover that once thrived in the mountains.
