Ward Village Welcomes Brick Oven Pizza and Maile's Thai at Ward

 Ward Village®, a master-planned community by The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC), today welcomes two new tenants - Brick Oven Pizza and Maile's Thai at Ward. 

Ward Village is home to an eclectic mix of over 40 restaurants and eateries and has transformed into a vibrant urban community, in what Architectural Digest recently named "The Best Planned Master Community in the Nation."
Brick Oven Pizza is a locally-grown, Kaua'i-based restaurant currently celebrating 40 years of business in the islands. Voted "Best Pizza on Kaua'i" for eight consecutive years and counting, Brick Oven Pizza offers the highest-quality hearth-baked pizzas using Hawai'i's finest and freshest locally-sourced ingredients. Located on the second floor of South Shore Market, Brick Oven Pizza is a family-style dining destination that not only welcomes all pizza and food lovers, but also caters to sports enthusiasts with a full bar and televisions broadcasting live sporting events.

From its celebrated made-to-order pizzas, now with gluten-free and vegan options, to pastas, soups, salads, sandwiches, seasonal oysters, and a full bar menu, Brick Oven Pizza is cooking up a full menu of island favorites. Guests should save room for delectable dessert options, including Brick Oven's Creamy Snickers Pizza, Apple Cinnamon Pizza, and the rich coffee and fudge decadence of Aloha Ice Cream Pie. The bar beverage list consists of a variety of wine, beer and specialty cocktails, including the restaurant's signature Brick Oven Mai Tai and island-inspired Strawdiction featuring local strawberries, house-made fresh lime sour and a li hing mui rim.

"Ward Village is the place to be for shopping and dining, and as the go-to local pizza place, we knew that this was the perfect contemporary, urban location for our newest restaurant," said Cory Aguano, co-owner of Brick Oven Pizza. The restaurant features a modern interior displaying black and white photos of the original Kalaheo, Kaua'i location and gladly accommodates large parties. Hours of operation vary and can be found here, with daily lunch specials and happy hour from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and late night from 10:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
At Ward Center, restauranteur Maile Sengoura has opened her second location of Maile's Thai Bistro with Maile's Thai at Ward in the space formerly known as Bellini Bistro & Bar. Maile's Thai at Ward is offering daily weekday lunch bento specials exclusive to Ward Village, including flavors such as Red Curry Beef, Yellow Chicken Curry, Panang Pork, Masaman Beef and Green Chicken Curry. All are served with soup of the day and various sides, including Thai salad, golden calamari, crispy wonton, chicken satay, papaya salad, pork jerky, spring roll and fish patty. The weekday lunch bento specials are served from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.and cost $12.90.

"It is a delight to reopen our old space as Maile's Thai at Ward," said Maile Sengoura, owner at Maile's Thai at Ward. "Our location is in the heart of bustling Ward Village and we are proud to be able to offer our guests a new and improved experience."
Maile's Thai at Ward offers an extensive menu that includes traditional curries and noodles like yellow curry and spicy basil noodles, or stir-fry and fried rice. The restaurant has special menus for vegetarian and gluten free diets and can easily satisfy a sweet tooth with homemade cheesecake, Thai crepes, or fresh mango with sticky rice. Sengoura draws inspiration for all of her dishes from the Thai food she learned to cook with her mother.
Brick Oven Pizza and Maile's Thai at Ward are the most recent additions to the locally owned and operated dining options at Ward Village, which includes restaurants such as Piggy Smalls, Scratch Kitchen & Meatery and Lucy's Lab Creamery.
