Burgers and Things Contributes to Hurricane Harvey Relief

Local eatery, Burgers and Things, has committed to donating 10 percent of all sales from Tuesday, September 12 through Sunday, September 17, 2017 to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Additionally, diners can make a donation throughout the month of September.

One hundred percent of designated donations will be used in support of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Salvation Army will use donations to provide immediate relief such as food, hydration, shelter, and emotional and spiritual care. The Salvation Army plans to assist in long-term recovery efforts throughout the affected communities.

“When an event as catastrophic as Harvey takes place we should all lend a hand,” said Burgers and Things business partner, Elizabeth Hata-Watanabe. “Even from the small town of Pauoa, we wanted to show our support in whatever way that we could to those affected, by partnering with The Salvation Army.”
