Salt at Our Kaka`ako Welcomes Morning Brew Coffee & Bistro

Longtime family business Morning Brew Coffee & Bistro has expanded to SALT at Our Kaka‘ako. Established in Kailua in 1995, Morning Brew brings its signature creations and vibe to Our Kaka‘ako, adding to the eclectic mix of dining options, in the growing community.

The menu includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, along with hearty favorites. Morning Brew also creates its own variety of proprietary coffee blends and will feature unique art at its SALT at Our Kaka‘ako location.

“Morning Brew’s many food options and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal brunch destination in our neighborhood,” said Jimmy Ventura, General Manager of SALT at Our Kaka‘ako. “With an established following, we are excited that Morning Brew is kicking off another wave of great businesses opening here, at SALT at Our Kaka‘ako.”

Morning Brew owners Debbie and Peter Anderson started with a small coffee cart in Diamond Head before opening Morning Brew in Kailua. The Anderson’s vision was to offer unique coffee and food that is locally sourced as much as possible. Through the years, the husband and wife duo successfully garnered fans with their brunch creations and signature drinks.

“Our mission has been to provide tasty, healthy food and the freshest organic coffee in a friendly, welcoming space, with the friendliest service on the island,” Peter Anderson said. “We’ve seen how SALT at Our Kaka‘ako has grown as a gathering place, supporting local businesses and culture. It's the perfect place to expand Morning Brew.”

Open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and located at the corner of Auahi and Coral Streets, Morning Brew is the latest addition to SALT at Our Kaka‘ako. In the coming months, SALT at Our Kaka‘ako will welcome Pitch Sports Bar, The Boiling Crab and other new businesses. Exciting events, including the monthly Hawaiian cultural showcase Pa‘akai Marketplace, in partnership with PA‘I Foundation, and the increasingly popular SALT Bar Crawl, also draw fans to the heart of Our Kaka‘ako.
