Visit Phoneix: Litchfield's

During our stay at The Wigwam, our family was treated to a wonderful dinner at Litchfield's, named after Paul W. Litchfield, the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Executive and founder of Litchfield Park, where The Wigwam is located. The restaurant focuses on a farm-to-table concept, resulting in beautiful dishes.
Complimentary Bread

Miso Pork Belly

Cast Iron Duck Breast

Roasted Arizona Chicken

Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce for the Kids

Kids Hot Dog

Goat Cheese Cheesecake
My husband and I shared the Miso Pork Belly, which was accompanied by a Brocolli Raab Fried Rice and Herb Salad.  Each bite of pork was crispy, tender, and flavorful.

I had the chicken for dinner, which was cooked perfectly.  The chicken was juicy and seasoned well, and the Black Kale and Slow Cooked Bacon was a nice accompaniment.  The dish also came with some Yam Gnocchi, which I thought was just okay.

My husband had the duck, which was cooked medium-rare and served with Zucchini Duck Confit Fritters, and he really enjoyed it.

The kids ate up their hot dogs, and although there isn't a kids dessert menu, we were able to order Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce for each of them.

My husband and I shared the Goat Cheese Cheesecake.  Although I prefer really dense cheesecakes, I still thought this cheesecake was rather good.  It was light with a nice sweet and tangy flavor from the goat cheese.

We dined at Litchfield's on Christmas Eve and it was a packed house, so service was a bit slow at times, but overall our server, Michelle, was really great, and we had a wonderful dinner!
